The techniques of the Old Masters and the quality of Belgian Linen..

My oil paintings are painted on Belgian Linen, a high-quality linen fabric made from European flax and famous for its durability and softness.  Or on canvas, made from cotton or linen, a heavyweight champion. They ensure my paintings will stand the test of time. 

Each painting is created by using the techniques of the Old Masters:  underpainting, layering - building up my painting gradually in layers -and glazing, to create depth and luminosity. And lots of love and patience!
